How to Make Red Sangria

How to Make Red Sangria

I jokingly always say, "create your aesthetic first, and then continue", but honestly make this your first step. Once you have all your beautiful ingredients prepped up in front of you, not only does this recipe inspire you, it'll make the experience so much more exciting.

You'll start with:

  • 2 Bottles of your choice of red wine (I used Red Blend)
  • Peach Schnapps
  • White Rum (Bacardi)
  • Brandy (E&J)
  • 2 Bottles of Sprite
  • A Glass of Orange Juice
  • 2 Oranges
  • 2 Lemons
  • 2 Limes
  • a desired amount of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries (it's hard to set an amount because I just used the amount I personally wanted.)

I first started with the fruit.

slice up all the fruit into a bowl and mix with 2 cups of sugar.

Look how beautiful.

Stir up the fruit with the sugar until fully absorbed and mixed in. Then toss into choice of jug or pitcher.

Once you add in the fruit, add in the rest of the liquid into the pitcher and mix.

Now you'll pour:

  • 2 Bottles of Red Blend
  • 2 (1.25 pints) Bottles of Sprite
  • Glass of Orange Juice
  • 3 Shots of Brandy
  • 3 Shots of Peach Schnapps
  • 6 Shots of Barcardi (not sorry...)

Stir in all the ingredients and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. I refrigerated my sangria for 24 hours and it tasted amazing. Major sneak attack drink! I enjoyed making this drink as much as I did drinking it! I hope you do as well.
